Peltor — Which brand is the best for I even have an old M-8 3X which I consider good property. I do have some newer scopes, some Leupold, and several others. A Bushnell may be a little brighter, but not enough so to go to the expense of mass replacement, and their warranty may not match Leupold, if needed.

Did some poking around in some older threads and it seems opinions vary on this. I have yet to mount them, lol. Joined: Sep NW Oregon. I'd say that the newer versions do have slightly better glass and are a bit brighter. Whether this is important depends on how much you hunt in low light situations. In ordinary conditions there is little practical difference. How do I make that bigger or where do I find what you're looking at.

Try them out, and see for yourself. Its hard to shop for someone other than yourself , when it comes to most things. Scopes are no exception.
